The appraiser visits the property to take photos and gather important details about the property. The report needs to be submitted to follow and will not be released without payment.<\/p>\n

Can I request a copy of the appraisal report when I am the one paying for it?<\/h3>\n

If an appraisal report is requested, the Client is the only party entitled to a copy of the report, regardless of who pays for the report. The Client is typically the party who requests or orders the appraiser for a particular appraisal request. If you are the person who requests the appraisal and it is for personal reasons, the report is submitted to you. If a lender requests an appraisal, generally they will not release a copy of the report to the borrower.<\/p>\n
