Shelley grew up in Bracebridge, Ontario; a small town in cottage country.\u00a0 She attended university in Waterloo, Ontario, earning an Honours BSc in Kinesiology.\u00a0 She pursued a specialty in Pedorthics, later starting an Orthotics business in London, Ontario allowing her to contribute to her clients\u2019 lives by enhancing their mobility and independence.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

From 2000-2002 she earned an MBA at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, later selling her Ontario business to move to Victoria full-time.\u00a0 It is still operating today.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Shelley has worked as a consultant to Royal Roads University as an external entrepreneurial advisor to the Bachelor of Commerce Entrepreneurial Management program. She worked with teams of learners to create and operate businesses, helping them to achieve real-world business experiences.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Shelley is now involved in Real Estate as a realtor, working with Macdonald Realty Ltd. In Victoria BC.\u00a0 Shelley was accepted into the fast-track appraisal program at UBC and has earned the designation of CRA, certified residential appraiser. She has been working as an appraiser for several years, and is licensed as a mortgage consultant.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
